This means members may NOT forward email to anyone outside the list without prior expressed, written permission of the author. Forwarding any such messages without permission may result in having posting privileges suspended immediately.

  • Please do NOT post questions for non-members to the list.
One of the benefits of membership is that you gain access to the knowledge of our members. If your significant- others, friends, and relatives would like that access, we encourage them to join.

  • Posts must be relevant to Flash Animation
The main focus of this group is to promote the education of Flash Animation specifically.
What's acceptable for general discussion is:
    - Succinct questions and answers
    - Announcements about events
    - Discussions of workplace issues for those working within the industry
    - Other topics related to the mission of Flasher.Org
For example, it would be considered relevant to discuss Photoshop or Web Design as it relates to an animation project. However to discuss how the local sport team did in the lastest game would not.\

For example, "job seeking" or "critique requested".

  • Inappropriate Subjects that are to be avoided:

    1. No pricing discussions.

    4. Please no virus warnings! Virus warnings of urgent consequence should be sent privately to the List Administrator who will then verify with Security Professionals and send out official warnings.

    5. Subjects generating more heat than light. Some topics start well and end badly. Our List Mediator has the authority to end certain discussions and invoke censure on those who choose to continue them.

  • General Netiquette:

*Practice respect and appreciation for every member. This organization is about being supportive towards each other as our skills continue to grow. If you choose not to be supportive, then do not post your thoughts.

*Be sure that the subject of your messages reflects what's actually in your message. Don’t use a subject header that is unrelated to the body of your message.

*Snip! Snip! Snip! When replying to an article, only quote the portions that are absolutely necessary to help the reader and delete the rest.

*Absolutely no email attachments! This includes HTML mail, file attachments, electronic business cards, vcards, etc.

List Censure:
